It was very affordable, especially for a private room. We were at Seaweed 2, which I felt was brand new and a work in progress (some things were unfinished/very basic furniture and decorations)- I would like to come back in a few years and see how they've fixed it up. Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for: affordable, relatively clean, and a good location (close to food, stores, and beach and other tours).

At Seaweed 2, the staff isn't there most of the time and the building isn't secure, which could be intimidating for solo travelers. Also, the bathroom were only fairly clean...we had to get toilet paper from the staff room several times and the garbages were often full. It's advertized as having internet, but that's only at the Seaweed 1 location (5 minutes away) If the staff eventually make it more like Seaweed 1 then it will be amazing.

Friendly staff, good package trip to similan, and good price too, very good location (city center). I'll stay there next time

They had superb coffee!!!!! clean bed. Something for young people. very easy access, central. And nearby at the minimarket the best fruitshakes ever!!!

Noisy hall and the people making it up to 04:00 o'clock in the morning. Toilets and showers did a bit smell. The sanitary equipments were not intact functionally, but I'll still will rebook antoher time :-) ... cool experience.

The hostel is located on the main road, so the shops and restaurants are within a short walk from the hotel. The room was easy but very spacy and clean. It took us about 15 min to get to the beach though it wasn't a problem as we stayed for 2 nights only.

The main road is rather noisy even in the night, but after shutting the window, we could fall asleep

nice and clean rooms, good location for daytrips to e.g. Similan Islands

No kitchen that can be used, no soap in the restroom, it's not allowed to eat your own food in the common area

It was the cheapest place we could find in Khao Lok.

The staff was negligent or rude with little English competency. We were given the wrong room and had to ask for one with 2, which the surly pre-teen employee didn't want to give us. The room included a bed, a window, a floor and a ceiling. The bathroom was down the hall and the floors were always wet. The other guests averaged around 20 years of age and were extremely loud.

The rooms are really basic, but clean. Restaurants and shops are close by. An easy 15 min walk to the beach.

The toilet was a bit smelly. The staff was friendly, but couldn't speak much English so it was difficult to ask for any tips.
